Welcome to a link-up party for your Friday Finished Object posts! In an effort to connect everyone who creates and blogs about it here on the web, I thought providing a place to link up and share your freshly finished creations would be a great way to see what everyone is working on. Please feel free to share ANY of your finished crafty pursuits from knitting and crocheting to sewing and scrapbooking.
You may be making a mental tally of the WIPs you’ve seen here in the last week or so and thinking, “I wonder which one of those flew off Jenna’s needles?” Well, as you wait with bated breath…
It’s a Chicken!!!! I used the Rebecca Danger pattern, Chubby Chirps. It’s a free Ravelry download and a great way to use up some scraps, which is exactly what I did!
Now Jenna, I see you knit a chicken, and it’s adorable, buy why??
My lovely Grandmother is turning 90 in a few days and we are going to visit her. She insisted “NO GIFTS” so I thought, it’s not a GIFT, but a tiny Chicken. I decided on a chicken because she has all these roosters in her kitchen. It’s sort of her thing. And does it really count as a GIFT if I didn’t have to BUY anything? It just took a few hours to put together, and it was a great way to practice my sewing of knit things. Anyway, I love it!
To join in the fun, click the link up below to see all the others participating in a Freshly Finished Friday! It will take you away from this page, but don’t worry, you will always be able to find your way back. It’s especially helpful if the linked up blog has a link back here. Please add your specific blog post link and remember to link back here in your blog so we can all be connected 🙂
Can’t wait to see your finishes this week!
v’s & bumps,
Jenna
Cute chicken 🙂
Sweet!
That’s adorable. My mother also has roosters and chickens all over her kitchen. I wonder if she’ll like little knit chicks, too…
It definitely can’t hurt 🙂 and with this project being a free pattern using scraps??
It’s definitely cute….nothing finished this week for me….
Oooh that is so cute! She’ll definitely appreciate the lovely gesture, even though secretly it is a gift 😉
grandma’s gonna LOVE it!!! 🙂
She got the biggest kick out of it! She named it Freddie J. 🙂
what an adorable chicken! And sure, no gifts is all well and good, but who can resist the cuteness power of that chicken?!
